1) बुरा जो देखन मैं चला, बुरा न मिलिया कोय,
जो दिल खोजा आपना, मुझसे बुरा न कोय।
Stop judging people as bad. Even if you are successful, you don't have the right to judge someone.
Meaning: This doha means that, when I tried searching for bad in the world, there was nothing bad, I found. But when I tried to look for bad inside me, there I found, nothing is as bad as me. (Read it slowly to understand)
In today's world, where people are continuously judging others and trying to find bad in everything, need to understand that talking bad about people does not help the world in any good way. If you are pointing out bad, then try to look inside yourself, are you good enough to point bad things out?
ASK: Whenever you are pointing bad things out or talking bad about someone, ask, is it in any way going to help you or help others?
2) तिनका कबहुँ ना निन्दिये, जो पाँवन तर होय,
कबहुँ उड़ी आँखिन पड़े, तो पीर घनेरी होय।
"If you want to go quickly go alone, and if you want to go far go together."
Meaning: Don't insult a twig when it lays in the leg just because it is small. That same twig, if hits your eyes, will hurt you the most.
Don't ever insult a person who is not equal to you and does not consider a person weak. You might have more skills or money than him, but that doesn't give you the right to insult others. Always remember, Time is more powerful!
THINK: By insulting some weaker to you, do you want to make an enemy for life, or by helping him out, you want to make a friend for life?
3) धीरे-धीरे रे मना, धीरे सब कुछ होय,
माली सींचे सौ घड़ा, ॠतु आए फल होय।
"Patience is the key to success."
Meaning: Everything will happen only when you have patience. If a gardener waters a tree with 100 pots, then also it will have fruits and flowers only when its season comes.
This is the most important thing that our generation needs to learn is, patience! Because of this digital era, we have become so prone to fast deliveries, that we completely forget, life has its own speed of doing things. The seeds of hard work that you have sown, will bear fruits when the time comes. But till then you have to be patient.
THINK: Is an impatient attitude helping you in any way? It is just causing you frustration, sadness, and deteriorating your health.
4) जिन खोजा तिन पाइया, गहरे पानी पैठ,
मैं बपुरा बूडन डरा, रहा किनारे बैठ।
Till the time you won't take risks and leave your fears behind, you won't be able to achieve anything. Big dreams call bigger risks.
Meaning: The one who tries, definitely gets something in return. A diver, who dives in deep water, finds a priceless sea beat. But the one, who is afraid, sits on the coast with their fears and finds nothing.
Our fears are nothing, but our thoughts playing games with us. The one who doesn't try to take risks is the one who achieves nothing. In life, we have to take risks and you might fail as well. But you will have experience and lessons to remember. It like if you want to go from A to B point, then you have to take risk of stepping up, or else you will always be stuck onto A only.
