We all wanted 2020 to end. It was a devastating year in which we all lost and gained somethings. So, Bawara Mann in collaboration with Himalayan Haveli, asked people to say bye in their own way to 2020. With so many amazing responses, we had to select 3 best one which are;
वर्ष दो हज़ार बीस तुम बुरे नहीं हो (सच्ची)
क्या तुम मुझे माफ़ कर पाओगे?
क्योंकि में शायद तुम्हे समझ ही नहीं पायी
या समझकर भी नासमझ ही रही
पर तुमने कभी कोई शिकायत नहीं की,
हमेशा मेरा साथ निभाया
जो भी आपदाएें आयी उसका हम सब हिस्सा थें, तुम भी
पर उन सब समस्याओं का बोझ अकेले तुम पर डाला गया
पर कहते हैं ना देर आये दूरस्थ आये
क्योंकि मुझे भी लगता था की इस महामारी की वजह से कितना कुछ खो रही हूँ में
पर अब सोचने पे लगता है कितना सब पा रही थी में
बहोत बहोत शुक्रिया वर्ष दो हज़ार बीस उन अनगिनत ख़ुशीयों केे लिए, उनके साथ आये छोटे मोटे दुःखों केे लिए और ख़ासकर उस प्यारे से जादू केे लिए जिसने मेरे आधी नींद में सो रहे उस सपने को इस तरह जागया की अब में अपने उस सपने को उड़ान दे पा रही हूँ
खुब ख़ुशी है कि खुदको एक नए सफर की चढ़ान दे पा रही हूँ
चलो फिर वर्ष दो हज़ार बीस अब हम एकदूसरे से विदा लेते है
में जानती हूँ की अलविदा शब्द तुमको नही भाता है
पर इस शब्द में ही तो छुपा तुमसे फिर मिलने का वादा है.
इस चुलबुली ज़िन्दगी में झल्ले से तुम... पगली सी में... फिर कही ना कहीं मुलाक़ात हो ही जाएगी!!

Dear 2020,
You should be awarded a roller-coaster year of the decade. In no time, you showed us how uncertainties and anxieties can give a surprise bang. When we were so busy in plotting how to fit you in an incredible frame, you were ready with your bumpy plans. There was a constant 'do or die' situation throughout the year. Either we change ourself to get fit into the frame or there was no second option because the scenario was all set. You opened so many eyes and simultaneously closed many of others. It was scary, chilling, dreadful all at once. Although you did trash of some of my favourite stuff I was about to explore but also you gave me enough of time to implore the 'inner me'. This credit I can't take away from you. But with all due respect, please now let us get rid of this wild ride. We hope for the best but with no planning because you taught us well to live in present.
